We talked with quite a few system providers, but were happiest with the advice and, more importantly, price we got from Opus Telecom. The engineers were excellent during the installation, ensuring minimum disruption to our very busy phone network.
We have already made immediate savings on calls and our company now has the capacity to take more calls thanks to the planning by all involved.

Fibre Broadband
FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet) is the latest technology in hi-speed data services and makes use of fibre connections to street cabinets that act as mini exchanges. The connection between the street cabinet and customer premises is copper as with ADSL connection but as copper performs well over short distances there is now the potential to reach up to 40Mbps download speeds.

Telephone Conferencing
Meetings can quite often be expensive and time consuming, travel costs can also be a huge issue for the international and national organisation. Opus Telecom offers a broad range of cost effective facilities to overcome that expensive meeting “saving our planet by cutting the carbon footprint associated with the travel”.
With no need for additional equipment or any requirement to be tied into contract, this is a very cost effective way to hold those meetings. Can your organisation afford not to benefit from the savings which are achievable by replacing your regular monthly or weekly meeting with a telephone conference?
Leased Lines
Leased Lines provide business-class connectivity from network to point of delivery at speeds between 2Mb and 10Gb. A leased line is the ideal solution for organisations looking for unrivalled service levels in comparison to that of ADSL and SDSL whilst offering fully un-contended, synchronous throughput at a variety of speeds.
If your business relies on connectivity then it’s imperative that you deliver a solution that reflects this requirement. Leased lines provide a high availability, highly scalable solution with increased service level performance than that available with other connectivity solutions.
Opus Telecom is able to provide both Internet leased lines as well as point to point circuits (i.e. a connection from one location to another without Internet access).
- Internet leased lines
Internet Leased Line services provide a direct connection into the network. The cost of an Internet leased line is calculated based upon the distance from the delivery location to the local carrier point of presence.
- Point to Point
Point to point services provides direct access between sites. Opus Telecom are able to provide point to point connectivity both within the UK and between the UK and international locations.
Whatever your location or speed requirements Opus Telecom have relationships with incumbent local carriers throughout the world to deliver reliable fixed line solutions.
Non geographic numbers
- 0800, 0845, 0870, 0844, 0871 and 090x numbers
Many companies don’t realise that Non Geographic telephone numbers such as 0800, 0845, 0844, and 0871 can be a very effective marketing tool which could enable you to generate revenue from each call you receive, track the effectiveness of individual marketing campaigns or add a host of additional features to your existing telephony solution.
As non geographic numbers do not relate to a geographic location, they can help to gain custom from further afield, and there would not be a requirement to change the number if your organisation moves to a different location. Callers can also be rerouted to a different telephone number instantly which may assist you if you were unable to access your office or if your telephony system failed.
The latest addition to the range of Non Geographic numbers is the ability to assign standard telephone numbers as a non geographic number which enables you to portray a presence in a particular place should it be desired. It is also a very cost effective alternative to BT’s remote call forwarding if you are unable to retain your existing number due to relocation.
All of the Non Geographic numbers have the ability to have additional features added to the numbers such as voicemail to e-mail, fax to e-mail, auto attendant or follow me numbers meaning that your customers can benefit from features and benefits usually associated with a large capital expenditure requirement.
