Q: I plug my telephone in to the wall socket and it does not work.
A: Ensure you have plugged the telephone into a digital wall socket installed by one of Opus telecoms engineers.

Q: My telephone does not work.
A: Try plugging a similar type of telephone into the wall socket. If this fails to work, please contact technical support.

Q: My Fax is running through the telephone system but I cannot dial out on it.
A: Make sure you are prefixing all numbers with the line access code, in general this would be a nine (9).

Q: How many speed dials are available to us?
A: There is a maximum of 1000 generic speed dials available on Siemens Hipath telephone systems.

Q: Am I able to transfer an incoming call to a mobile or landline via the telephone system?
A: Yes press tick, dial 9 then the required number, then hang up upon answer.

Q: The area I am in is prone to power cuts, does the telephone system support an external UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply)?
A: Yes; however the length of service will depend on the telephone system configuration.

Q: My headset has stopped working.
A: Replace batteries. If this fails to correct the problem, please contact technical support.

Q: My telephone keeps ringing other extensions without me touching my telephone.
A: You may have inadvertently set a callback.
To clear this, type #0 on your telephone.
This will cancel any additional settings you may have set.

Q: How do I change the time on the telephone system?
A: On the main display telephone, press the program/service key, dial *95 *95 tick, tick then dial 12, press * input the correct time in 24 hour format and press tick, and the telephone will emit a confirmation tone.
Press the program/service key to exit this mode.

Q: How do I change the date on the telephone system?
A: On the main display telephone, press the program/service key, dial 95 *95 tick, tick then dial 13, press , input the correct date DDMMYY and press tick, the telephone will emit a confirmation tone, press the program/service to exit this mode.
